UDAL – A Solo Dance Theatre Production, The project Started from 2018

Udal rises from among the oppressed, the marginalized and the disenfranchised in the society. This is not the communication of one person but the protest of a section of people.Unable to raise his face in the middle of the rejected society, a body that looks down and moves with the burdens stuffed in his mind. The society’s stinging words are question marks. A frightening atmosphere of isolation when blame and blame are heaped upon one. When the body rises from these burning coals, it is celebrated with great power.

This performance seeks to give voice to the various discriminations we face based on markers such as gender, language, class, economic status, color and education. Udal is an expression of resistance, resurrection and celebration of human bodies.
