Dileep Chilanka is an actor, contemporary dancer, choreographer, performance maker, researcher, and theatre director from Kasaragod, Kerala, India. His artistic journey is a dynamic fusion of movement and performance, reflecting a deep commitment to exploring and expanding the boundaries of contemporary art.

With a diverse background spanning various disciplines, he is dedicated to creating innovative works that engage and challenge audiences. His practice is rooted in a profound understanding of both the theoretical and practical aspects of theatre and dance, and he is passionate about pushing the envelope in performance art. Currently, he is also focusing on sound and painting, further broadening his artistic horizons.



VISION

His vision is to establish himself as an internationally recognized contemporary art practitioner and choreographer. He is focused on developing and refining his unique approach to movement art, with the goal of making a significant impact on the global stage.

In pursuit of this vision, he plans to create his own company, which will provide a platform for talented practitioners to showcase their abilities and collaborate on groundbreaking projects. Additionally, he is enthusiastic about organizing art, dance, and theatre festivals in his village, fostering a vibrant cultural community and nurturing local talent.
